- June 20-24, 2016– Natural History of Sierra Nevada butterflies at the San Francisco State’s Sierra Nevada Field Campus near Yuba Pass, the 17th year that Paul and Evi have taught this class.
- June 24-26, 2016– Jerry Powell and Paul Opler will teach the Moths of California workshop at the San Francisco State’s Sierra Nevada Field Campus near Yuba Pass. This will be the fifth year that Jerry and Paul have held this workshop which may include collecting or photography as each participant wishes.
Both of these will take place at the Sierra Nevada Field campus, which has more information on their website. All classes can be used for teacher recertification.
Nationally renowned butterfly expert and Fort Collins Audubon Society member Paul Opler and his wife Evi will be teaching two one-day classes in Rocky Mountain National Park (also for recertification through BOCES) offered by the Rocky Mountain Conservancy (970-586-3262) as well as a one-day class in Golden Gate Canyon State Park offered by the Colorado Native Plant Society.
